About Faith Baptist Church
Faith Baptist Church began on January 7, 2018, with eight members meeting in the conference room of a hotel in Salina, KS. Since then, we have expanded and grown, purchasing a building in 2020 where we meet today.
We are a traditional church, holding to the "old paths" of the Gospel, which have been proven by those who went before. Through the leading of the Holy Spirit, we are dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, loving God, and loving others.
We trust the authorized King James Bible as the accurate English translation of the original (Textus Receptus) Hebrew and Greek manuscripts.
We believe “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” I Timothy 3:16-17
We believe the Bible is the full doctrinal statement for our church and hold on to the Traditional Baptist Distinctives which are:
-Biblical Authority
-Autonomy of the Local Church
-Priesthood of the Believer
-Two Ordinances, Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper
-Saved Church Membership
-Bible teaching of the Godhead and Trinity
-We hold to the fundamentals of the faith.

- The inerrancy of the Scriptures themselves
- The Second Coming of Christ
We do not hold to the contemporary Christian movement but believe that we should conform our church to the Holy Scriptures. Since we serve an unchanging God, we are traditional in church services. Therefore, we worship our Lord with the “Old Blood-Atoning” Gospel hymns.
